PUSLITBANGBUN ACTIVITY – Head of the Indonesian Center For Estate Crops Research and Development (ICECRD), Ir. Syafaruddin, Ph.D held a special meeting to prepare for the Online Seminar that will discuss the topic of Supporting Estate Crops Technology Innovation in the Era of Adapt to New Habits (ANH) via teleconference, together with all Head of Research Institute of the ICECRD in Monday (7/7).
Syafaruddin asserted that this seminar must be able to have a positive impact on society, especially with regard to information about the technology that has been produced by the ICECRD
“I really hope that your input from all of you will be able to hold an online seminar that can have a positive impact on the wider community both educative and informative about the technological innovations that we have produced,” said Syafaruddin.
Furthermore, he also hoped that in this seminar, the ICECRD was able to present the Head of the Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development Ministry of Agriculture (IAARD), Dr. Ir. Fadjry Djufry as a key note speaker at the same time to provide direction in relation to the future research and development research program plan in supporting the IAARD work program in the ANH era.
In this coordination meeting, the Head of the Research Institute at the ICECRD provided input that an online seminar planned to be held in mid-July 2020 should also raise issues relating to the prevention and prevention of the Covid-19 outbreak. Furthermore, this seminar can certainly discuss superior products of ICECRD that can improve immunity and maintain a healthy body, including such as Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) made from coconut from the Indonesian Palm Crops Research Institute (IPCRI), products made from essential oils for health from the Indonesian Spice & Medicinal Crops Research Institute (ISMCRI), Roselindo Tea that has been penetrated to foreign countries from the Indonesian Sweetener & Fiber Crops Research Institute (ISFCRI), and Purwoceng Coffee for the vitality of the body from the Indonesian Industrial & Bevarages Crops Research Institute (IIBCRI).
In addition, the Researchers in the scope of the ICECRD also conveyed their ideas so that the seminar could involve external parties as speakers (Internal Ministry / Private / other Ministries) related to the theme raised, so as to be able to provide views and input on innovations that have been produced by the ICECRD.
