ICECRD ACTIVITIES – Bogor, (31/03/21), the Indonesian Center For Estate Crops Research and Development (ICECRD) again intensively carried out the 4th labor intensive technical training which was attended by 107 participants from communities who live in the area around the Plantation Center for Research and Development Office.
This is in accordance with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the Minister of Agriculture, where each Work Unit / Technical Implementing Unit is expected to be able to carry out labor-intensive technical guidance as a priority program to spur people’s economic growth.
The labor-intensive technical guidance of the 4th ICECRD was opened by the KSPHP Coordinator (Dr. Tedy Dirhamsyah) representing the Head of the ICECRD (Ir. Syafaruddin, Ph.D) who was unable to attend. In his presentation, he conveyed a message from the Head of the ICECRD who appreciated the labor-intensive technical guidance participants to be optimistic during the Covid -19 pandemic and always maintain health wherever we are.
The KSPHP Coordinator of the PICECRD then conveyed the profile of theICECRD and the Technical Implementing Units under it as well as the mandated commodities. He invited the participants of technical guidance to get to know various kinds of medicinal plants and all their benefits and invited all participants who wanted to take advantage of the technology from the ICECRD by writing to the Head of the ICECRD, with the matter or purpose and purpose of studying processed products through technical guidance. .
“We (ICECRD) are always open to people who need information about the research results from the ICECRD, because one of our goals is to carry out research and development in the field of plantations, namely to create innovative plantation research results that can benefit the wider community,” explained Tedy.
The TG participants seemed very enthusiastic about the labor intensive technical guidance activities carried out by the ICECRD, this was shown by arriving early and bringing equipment such as: hoes, brooms, sickles and other equipment for training. (anjas)
