PUSLITBANGBUN ACTIVITY – To create a professional Government Bureaucracy, the Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development Ministry of Agriculture together with the Work Unit and Technical Implementing Unit below including Indonesian Center For Estate Crops Research and Development seeks to shape a work culture in improving the performance of IAARD. The seriousness and commitment of Balitbangtan to achieve good performance, and with integrity, on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 was held the Declaration of the Agency for Change in the Agricultural War Room of the ICSDLP, Balitbangtan, Jalan Tentara Pelajar, Bogor.

The Signing and Declaration of the Change Agent was opened by Ir. Syafaruddin, Ph.D. (Acting Secretary of Balitbangtan and Head of Indonesian Center For Estate Crops Research and Development). Also attending and witnessing the declaration included: Prayudi Syamsuri, SP. M.Sc. (Head of BB PASCA PANEN), Ir. Mastur, M.Sc., Ph.D. (Head of BB Biogen), Husnain, SP, MP, M.Sc, Ph.D (Head of BBSDLP), Dr. Muhammad Taufiq Ratule, M.Sc (Head of BBP2TP), and was joined by 21 participants of the UK / UPT declaration in the scope of IAARD.

Ad interim Secretary of IAARD representing Dr. Ir. Fadjry Djufry, M.Si (Head of Balitbangtan) who was unable to attend expressed significant challenges that must be passed by the agents of change that were appointed today. Balitbangtan believes that representatives of each Satker selected can set an example, become a driving machine, change the habit of justifying the usual, become accustomed to behaving, saying, working, behaving properly, and can be a role model with integrity, honesty, loyalty, performance high and able to provide a better direction for other ASN, he said.

Syafaruddin hopes that every agent of change must avoid nepotism, corruption and others, and be able to simplify a long and time-consuming bureaucracy. He also assigns agents of change in bureaucratic reform, must be able to work optimally according to the mandated tasks and be able to report work results to their respective leaders. Every change agent must be able to show their performance / performance. Not only that, on various occasions the ASN Balitbangtan must also be agile, simple, adaptive and innovative, and be able to work effectively and efficiently, without exception in realizing the Vision of Forward Indonesia. Congratulations on duty and let’s make the culture of reform a better direction in all matters that are endless at the Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development Ministry of Agriculture,

The role of agents of change in bureaucratic reform in IAARD specialized at the Indonesian Center For Estate Crops Research and Development has become very important in driving the process of bureaucratic reform in 8 (eight) areas of change. The expected outcome of implementing Bureaucratic Reform is the creation of a clean, accountable and capable government, so that it can serve the community quickly, accurately, professionally, and cleanly from the practices of Corruption, Collusion, Nepotism. The speed of serving and accountable, effective and efficient bureaucracy is the key to the realization of bureaucratic reform.
