Answer:Thank you for your visit to our Website. The Indonesian Center for Estate Crops Research and Development (ICECRD) is a governmental institute under the Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development (IAARD), Ministry of Agriculture. You could do the investment in the form of a partnership especially for research activities or technological assistance.
Question:Is there any pesticide formula to effectively control brown planthopper in rice plant ? Is it also effective  to control pests of vegetable crops? Is it correct that the usage of botanical pesticides can increase the production of vegetable crops? (Budiman, Indramayu)
Answer:Current pesticides that have been tested and effective to control of Brown plant hopper, Nilaparvata lugens, is Smartz Plus and applied at a concentration of 1%. This pesticide has been tested and proven effective in controlling various types of sucking pests such as Helopeltis spp in crops of cocoa, tea, and cashew nuts, Aphids and thrips on pepper plants, and mites on various types of vegetable crops. In rice it has been shown that the usage of Smartz Plus during the growing season is able to increase the production of grain up to 1 ton/ha.
Question:Good afternoon sir. I want to ask where I can buy the IP3 seeds of Jatropha that is drought resistant and to be grown in Eastern of Indonesia? (Johnanes, NTT)
Answer:IP3 to be planted in the dry climate is a type that is derived from IP3A grown in the Asembagus Garden Experimental, East Java. In order to have it please contact Indonesian Research Institute for Sweeteners and Fiber Crops
