Member Of The House Of Representatives Commission X: Technological Innovations From Research And Development Of The ICECRD, IAARD Must Be Supported!

ICECRD ACTIVITIES – Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission X, Desy Ratnasari was amazed and proud of all the research innovations carried out by the Indonesian Center For Estate Crops Research and Development, the Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development Ministry of Agriculture together with all the Research Institutes. This was conveyed during a visit to the Indonesian Industrial & Bevarages Crops Research Institute (IBCRI), which is the Technical Implementation Unit of the ICECRD, Saturday, (21/8).

In front of the media, Desy said that the innovation of the ICECRD is the work of the nation’s children that must be supported by all parties. This innovation is one of our efforts to achieve self-reliance in the agricultural sector.

“Today, I see many innovations that have been produced by the ICECRD, there are technology for processing coffee, cocoa and biodiesel. I think this is the work of the nation’s children that we must support for the progress of this country, especially in the agricultural sector,” Desy explained.

Furthermore, he also said, this is an opportunity for the government and the DPR to see opportunities to develop the nation’s economic side from the innovation sector in agriculture which must continue to be considered in the future.

Head of the ICECRD, Ir. Syafaruddin, Ph.D was grateful to receive a visit from members of Commission X directly. He hopes that after this visit a synergy can be created with the Central Government to continue to develop innovative research results in the plantation sector.

“Alhamdulillah, today we are very grateful to receive a visit from a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Mrs. Desy Ratnasari, so that we can disseminate and distribute research results directly to her,” said Kapus.

“Of course we hope that after this we can create a synergy between the ICECRD, the Agricultural Research and Development Agency, the Central Government and the Indonesian House of Representatives to continue to support each other and optimize what we have produced now and in the future.” Obviously Capus.
