ICECRD ACTIVITIES – Monday, January 18, 2021, the Indonesian Center For Estate Crops Research and Development (ICECRD) welcomed thirteen student interns from Sebelas Maret University Surakarta (UNS), Jenderal Soedirman University (UNSOED), and Singaperbangsa Karawang University. The thirteen students from the three universities were welcomed by the Coordinator of the Collaboration Substance Group and Research Result Utilization (KSPHP), Dr. Tedy Dirhamsyah, SP, MAB., And Sub-Coordinator of the Cooperation Substance Group, Dr. Saefudin, SP, M.Si. in the 2nd floor Meeting Room of the main building of the ICECRD.
In his remarks, Mr. Tedy and Mr. Saefudin appreciated the presence of this student from the Faculty of Agriculture and Biology. They also expressed their hope that the University could work together again with the ICECRD in the future.
The apprenticeship activity itself is a follow-up to the collaboration carried out by the ICECRD and the University in 2020. The internship is scheduled to last for 1 to 2 months.
The plan is for the students to be placed at the Indonesian Spice & Medicinal Crops Research Institute (ISMCRI), Somatic Embryogenesis Lab, Agricultural Superior Seed Management Unit (UPBUP), ICECRD, and Sukamulya Experimental Garden, Sukabumi. The fields of internship that will be studied are Plant Physiology and Plant Tissue Culture and Soil Biology. (Anjas)
